JSC Victoriabank
- Victoriabank is the first private commercial bank in Moldova, established in 1989. Victoriabank started its activity on April 12, 1990 when first banking transaction was performed. The dynamic and stable development of the Bank was adequately appreciated by foreign partners. In December 1995 foreign investors, including European Bank of Reconstruction and Development became our shareholders. At the moment more than 60% of the bank share capital is hold by foreigh companies. Victoriabank strongly supports the development of private businesses. The successful co-operation with EBRD, resulted in opening of a credit line of $4 million, was followed by other signifiicant placements of credit resources from World Bank, Dresdner Bank, Commercial Bank of Greece. All these projects allows Victoriabank to grant of more than $14 million additional loans in order to develop the private sector of the economy of the Republic of Moldova. Recently, Victoriabank signed a new agreement with EBRD for international trading activity support. The increased needs for financial development of private businesses require further efforts to strenthen business and partnership relations with all our clients and partners.
